Show your creativity and experiment with modifying the human face, creating a mold and a casting based on your creation! New or returning students, we invite you to join us once again for our November Jóvenes Creadores (Young Creators) course. Participants who complete a sculpture will have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the SFS Art Fest 2024. Sign up for our final sculpture session! This time you will get the opportunity to incorporate reusable, recyclable, or secondhand materials and experiment with the concept of junk art sculpture. Stop by the library this holiday season to pick up one of our festive take & make craft kits! Get in the holiday season with chilly snowmen canvases and beaded snowflakes this December! We can’t wait to see how your creations come out. Must be 13-18 years of age to participate. |

Want to take your computer skills to the next level? Join our new Coding Club to learn how to write your own computer code. Our classes will include computer languages like Python, JavaScript, and Ruby and delve into computer science topics like UX Design, iOS development, and more! Create a portfolio to land your dream career, or just learn a new skill! Join us Mondays at 3:45 p.m. starting January 8th at the Gus Velasco Neighborhood Center’s Tech Lab. Registration is required and space is limited. Register here. Open to students in grades 9-12. Reserve once per topic. Topics will run for multiple sessions until all modules are completed.
