Passport Services
Santa Fe Springs City Library is an authorized U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility.
Passport Services are by appointment only.
Passport photos are available for $10 per person.
Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 2 pm
Please arrive 10 minutes early with your ID, payment and all required documents filled out prior to your appointment.
Arriving at your appointment more than 10 minutes late or with incomplete documentation may forfeit your time slot.
*You may only book one applicant per appointment. If you have multiple applicants, you will need to book each one separately. When booking an appointment for someone else, please use the applicant's name.
All applicants MUST be present and are REQUIRED to check in 10 minutes before appointment time.

- DS-11 passport application must be filled out in black ink, with no errors or corrections, and printed single-sided.
- Required documentation must be present.
- Approved payment for both fees present.
- Required members of your party present.
Failure to do so will result in a canceled or rescheduled appointment.
Application (DS-11)- The application cannot have any errors or corrections, no exceptions
- It must be single-sided, with black ink only
- Social Security Number is required on the application
- Valid or expired U.S. Passport (Applicants ages 15 and under require a copy of their Birth certificate in addition to the passport)
- Original Certified U.S. Birth Certificates only (NOT ACCEPTED: Abstract birth certificate, hospital certificate, or registration certificate)
- Original Naturalization Certificate (NOT ACCEPTED: Photocopies)
- Original Born Abroad Certificate (NOT ACCEPTED: Photocopies)
- Ages 15 & under: Both parents/guardian(s) must be present with valid IDs
- Ages 16-17: One parent/guardian must be present with a valid ID
- Ages 18+: Applicant must present a valid ID
- 2X2 inch color photo taken within the last 6 months
- Photo services offered for $10 per person
- Check or Money Order, one per applicant. No Cash. Payable to the U.S. Department of State Passport Fees
- $35 Execution fee (Acceptance fee) to Santa Fe Springs City Library by cash or credit card.

Regular Processing: Estimated 6-8 weeks*
Expedited Processing (additional fees apply): 2-3 weeks*
*Mailing delays may require an additional 2 weeks.
